What is happening?

I'm suppose to be 8 weeks. Ultrasound yesterday showed I am measuring 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat. My hcg was 14,615 last night and will have another test tomorrow. She said those are reassuring numbers. My last period was Sept. 18 and I ovulated Oct. 2nd. Anyone with similar experience? Or just some prayers. This is my first pregnancy and I am devastated that something is going wrong.

I had the same type of situation in feb. I had some spotting and then went in for an ultrasound and had testing. 
Monday hcg test
Tuesday ultrasound : I was supposedly 7 weeks 6 days (according to LMP) but I measured 6 weeks 2 days. No heart beat, no yolk. 
Wednesday: hcg didn’t go up as much as they’d have liked
Friday hcg again didn’t go up as they planned. 
2 weeks later
Ultrasound!! Heartbeat and a baby!!!
And now my son is a pain in the butt crying all the time lol

Blood test last night showed hcg 12,706. 
Now what happens? I havent passed it yet and my numbers only going down 1,000 a day. No bleeding but I've cramped the whole time I've been pregnant.

During the entire first trimester my baby measured 6 days smaller, even though I knew exactly when I ovulated (I used OPKs).
It's even more common to have discrepancies if you don't know the exact date. 
My baby eventually caught up at 13 weeks, the doctor says babies rarely measure on track in the beginning. I heard the hearthbeat when I was 7 weeks but was supposed to be 8w.

Might not be that far along , we thought we was 9 weeks originally went to doctor and we was 5w5d we ovulated late

We heard our daughter’s heartbeat at 6w2d. Had an ultrasound the day before and there wasn’t anything other than the yolk sac so progression in the earlier weeks happens quickly if everything is going as it should. With this baby, we couldn’t hear a heartbeat or even find a flicker until 8w1d. Given how easy my first was to find, it sent me into panic mode thinking that something was wrong but everything turned out to be fine and our boy is set to arrive on NYE. I’m sure that there is absolutely nothing going wrong with your little one. 💛

Prayers and love ❤️ I'm sure everything is going to be fine. Some people don't hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks. It may take a while for the heart to form.

That could be normal if you have irregular periods, or not the typical 28 days.
