My bf just started bowgarding his phone, he never is out of his sight with it, he checks it very more often, and acts all weird with it all a sudden, or and is constantly on it throughout the day on messenger what do you think?

I recently went through this with my husband. I say go through his phone. Then ask him and see what he says. I've learned that even though all men don't cheat, even the good one's lie about the smallest things

It depends on the stage you’re at in your relationship. You could be ruining a surprise proposal or Christmas gift! But the fact your mind immediately jumps to suspicion means there are underlying issues. 
I would go through his phone and then ask him about it. If you ask him without any proof it’s either going to be horribly awkward if he was doing something for you, orrrr he’ll lie and learn to cover his tracks and you’ll feel even worse and more insecure than you do now. 
When we were in the very early stages of dating I caught on to something suss, had a a scroll, and he denied it while I was literally holding the messages (just crappy chit chat, nothing sexual, but we had met online and it was someone else from online he hadn’t met, and was still entertaining his ego with) and showing them to him!!!! Seriously. Someone caught red handed will act in all kinds of ways, it’s how you work on it as a couple and individually with setting boundaries. I know some guys who would think nothing of confiding in ex girlfriends even after they’re married (no) or swapping numbers with a girl at a bar because they’re a ‘new friend’ (noooooo!). 
We’re married now and he calls me the ‘all-seeing eye’ because the hell I raised that day taught him to buck up or get out, nothing gets past me 😂
