Sick while ovulating ??

So I'm supposed to be ovulating today, according to my calender... and tonight I randomly started feeling horrible. I literally felt a change in my body. Very similar to flu like symptoms. Started feeling weak, flushed , chills and achey. My upper back and arm was achey. Then after I ate my IBS started acting up REALLY bad. Was on the toilet for over 15 min having diarrhea .... I'm assuming this could be my ovulation making my body so Crazy? Usually I'll feel like this right before my period... I get the "period flu" is what they call it ..... but does anyone get this way while ovulating?? I feel SO horrible tonight
