My husband and I decided to start trying for real this past month. I told my PCP as much and she said it would likely take 3-6 months before we conceived. We had the month from hell with my grandmother suddenly taking a turn for the worse and passing away, which kept me at my parents house to help for most of the month. My grandma used to tell me that i needed to hurry up with kids so she could see them grow up, since she had planned to live to at least 100 (meant to be funny, she was a wonderfully sassy lady).
