Handwashing baby clothes?

Is anyone else handwashing their baby clothes? I believe it's safe to machine wash baby clothes but my mom suggested I hand wash them to avoid shrinking! I know I'm no washing machine but I feel like moms do it better anyway. Lol.

I even machine wash the hand made stuff, cold water, delicate cycle. Never had a problem this is baby 2.

My mother wants to hand wash my baby clothes, and if she wants to why not.. I was going to put them in the washer but she’s really set on washing them.

U only need to hand wash the home made stuff like knitted things but everything else should have a wash care tag and be fine
