Has anyone had a mateniT21 done? I don’t know how it’s spelled. But I’m having one Monday and I just wanna make sure it won’t give false gender.

I didn’t have that particular test, but we did the Harmony test, which is basically the same thing. It’s 99% accurate for gender and it’s also the best test (other than an amniocentesis) for Down’s syndrome.

My coworker had it done. Her test came back inconclusive on the sex of the baby. A chromosomal anomaly was suspected. She was referred to a specialist. In the end, an error had been made at the lab somehow. She had a healthy baby boy. I think the test was pretty anxiety inducing for her. 
I personally was not offered the test by my doctor.
