Breech c-section

I found out at my 35 week ultrasound that my son is still breech so it’s looking like a c-section is in my future as I am refusing an external version.

That being said, has anyone had a c-section scheduled for a breech baby and went into the hospital just to find out the baby flipped? What did your doctor do? Did they do the c-section still, induce, or did they send you home? I am terrified that I will leave work before the scheduled c section and be told that he flipped and they are going to make me wait to go into labor on my own which would mean going back to work 3-4 weeks after my son is born. What was everyone else’s doctor’s policy on this?
