Get a fleece Columbia snow suit. It’s thin enough to use in a car seat- but also warm enough to use from house to car with a blanket as needed. It has openings for hands in feet that I typically undo in the car so they don’t get hot.

Thick booties that are more like socks. Baby doesn’t need shoes that are probably going to be uncomfortable.
