Safe to nurse or no?

Hello no bashing please I'm a first time mom and I have a cold/the flu (it's too soon to tell it just started up today) I'm wondering if it's still safe to nurse my son or if I should not be in contact with him if possible. Thank you for your help. 
PS my symptoms atm are sore throat on one side, low grade fever (100.9), running nose, migraine (not sure if that's related or not)

Yess your body will actually make milk to protect your baby. It is also great to nurse as much as possible when your baby is sick because your body will add stuff to your milk to help him get better.

So yes, breastfeeding does transfer antibodies but that does not make your child immune, I gave my 4 week ole little girl RSV while breastfeeding.  You should take every precaution still to prevent giving it to them. Wash your hands and dont kiss or breathe on them.

Yes it's safe and good to nurse! As your body fights the cold, it will create antibodies that will pass through the milk to help baby.
