5 days PP and my supply came in fairly quick🙌🙌🙌 Lincoln has been feeding approximately every 2-3 hours but my supply is coming quicker than she’s eating!! So during nap time I pumped out 16-18 oz in one sitting!! I’m truly thankful and blessed for that chance to let my body create such a supply:) #milkdrunkbaby #breastfedbaby #latchandlock #raisinglincolnmarie

That's awesome you have such a great supply but that volume indicates you have a serious oversupply. When you get engorged in the beginning you should only pump to comfort if you are still engorged after nursing. Oversupply can cause lots of discomfort for you and digestive issues for baby since they will get a full belly before they get enough satiating fatty hind milk.

Ah I remember those days. Until the midwife walked in on day 5 of me being in hospital and was like "Unless you're trying to feed triplets, you need to slow down". There was just too much milk!

I was the exact same way. I was miserable! Constantly leaking and constantly needing to pump. A blessing and a curse lol

Be careful you don’t stimulate an oversupply. I also became engorged and pumped some but only enough to relieve the pressure. Overproduction seems nice, but it can really cause issues. My friend has this, constantly has her clogged ducts, has to pump at night even though baby sleeps, and just had mastitis 😞
