I never really posted but here is my labor story
I was due November 15th, I was having contractions the day before so they had me go to the doctors office to see if I was dilated or not.
I was 1.5 cm then. As soon as I left I had no pain or anything for a few days. I’m like okay she’s comfy inside lol
I was starting to hope she would stay in for the weekend so I can rest.
Well..she had other plans.
On saturdays my husband and I do a radio show so we got up and went to do it no problem. While sitting I got the worst chills and they lasted for hours even at home. I thought maybe my sugar was low or something since I didn’t eat. When bedtime comes which was like 11 pm, my back was killing me and I was super super hot. I’m like wtf. This continued through the night and the back pain progressed. Around 4 am today (11/18/18)
I woke up and my husband was like what’s wrong. I’m like wining in pain and said I don’t know. It hurts really bad. We fell asleep until the alarm for him to go to work went off which was 5 am. I woke up, boom contractions I’m just like okay it’s not too bad I’ll be okay. On the car ride to his job I felt like I was dying honestly. It was crazy. 6/20 I call the hospital and explained what was going on. They said to come in to be checked. We had to wait for his supervisor to show up so we could leave. Which felt like an eternity. We got to the hospital around 8:45 am. We’re waiting for them to let us in. I got super nauseous. I’m like I’m gonna throw up. My husband said please don’t. I’m just like really lol
Next thing you know, it was either in me or the floor. So the floor it was
They brought me in and checked to see where I was. I was 3 cm dilated. I’m off the labor room. The contractions were so freaking horrible I’m trying to breathe and I’m getting chills. It was horrible. They asked if I wanted epidural I said no. What are my other options so they mentioned a medication you get via iv along with a shot. I was like ok BUT in order for me to get it. They needed more movement from the baby so there I was feeling the worst ever.
0:45 am comes, I get up to pee and there comes a gush. Doctor came in, I was 6 cm dilated. I’m just like already???
They had to put some monitor inside me on her head to track her heart and they mentioned epidural again I’m just like no. When can I get the other one. I had to wait, then the doctor came back to redo the monitor because it wasn’t working 🙄
Time goes by, I have to poop (sorry tmi) the nurse asked if I’m sure I’m like yes lol so I go and went back to bed. Then she’s having trouble keeping count of my contractions so I had to attempt to tell her while basically dying lol
She mentioned laughing gas to help with the pain I’m just like idc. I need something. 11:30 am comes she sees how my contractions are and asked for the doctor to check me. Boom I’m 10 cm. She said when I feel like I have to poop to start pushing. That’s when it got real lol. First contraction after that the nurse and my husband are holding my legs and I’m pushing. Third push I felt this HORRIBLE pressure, it was the baby’s head. I freaked out and stopped 😂
My doctor was doing a c section so they had a midwife come in.
They keep telling me to push and every time I felt her head I’m screaming I can’t do it.
Midwife put oil to try to help me not tear and sh kept telling me to push. Everything was ok until I felt her cut me. I literally screamed and she’s telling me not to stop. Next thing I know the baby is out and it was over.
She said she had to cut me because the baby’s heart rate was 30 and her cord was around her neck.
Let me tell you i felt so much better once she was out lol
So after my long story, here she is
