If I just turned 18 and have a child of my own should I be able to have my own facebook?

I just turned 18 and I have a 3 1/2 month old daughter and I still live with my parents and I have never been able to have any social media. And I dont know how to ask them if I could have a facebook. ( i know it sounds weird but my parents are very strict).
