I'm looking to quit my current job at a restaraunt, and i'm gonna go apply to be a server at a grill place in town. Is there anything I should know? or be prepared for? what kind of questions did they ask (ik its not the same everywhere but maybe theres some "general server questions" i'm 16 and i'll have to get my serving it right first but yeah hopefully I get the job. What was it like being a server? and I do get paid $12.65 or more an hour plus tips so to me it would be worth it lol. cause ik some places only pay like 7.25 plus tips

I get $2.13an hour. I get $0.00 paychecks every weeks. You literally make tips. That’s it. It’s not a bad job I make $1,500-$2,000 a month working 5days a week. Some days are worse than others but I make enough to cover my bills

If you’re a server you’re more than likely going to be paid 2$/hour plus tips. Servers don’t get paid all that much because they are supposed to make it up in tips. That’s why you’re supposed to tip. Also depending on the kind of place you work, they won’t let you serve if you’re under 18 because you can’t serve alcohol. And if they do just be nice to customers. They are the ones paying your bills. Always smile and be polite. That’s how you get regulars.
