Anyone else have any spotting right at week 6? Should I be worried this could be the beginning of a miscarriage?? It's my first pregnancy and now I'm so worried.

I didn’t vote because the answer is different for everyone. If it’s just light spotting, things are probably fine. But the answer isn’t cut and dry, if it gets worse it might be concerning. You just need to monitor it is all.

Spotting in pregnancy isn’t necessarily “normal” but it is common. And sometimes you can have it and be totally fine. My recommendation would be to call your doctor or midwife and request blood work. You’ll go once and then again after 48 hours and it will be to ensure your levels are doubling. When I had my miscarriage I had brown spotting that started around 4.5/5 weeks and then continued until I miscarried at 6 weeks. My indicator was low levels at 4.5 ish weeks (67) and then it only going up to 96 after 3 days. Good luck!!!!

I was spotting all last week and went in for my first u/s at 5+4 Friday. Everything was fine and he told me not to worry unless I started bleeding heavy and red. I started that on Monday night and panicked and went back yesterday and it was just a bleeding clot. The u/s was even better and nugget is fine for now. Try not to worry (even though it’s the hardest thing in the world, I know) 💜💜💜

I’m in the same situation! I started spotting last night, and it’s continuing off and on today. I spoke with a nurse, and she said that it’s nothing to be concerned about as long as it stays light and pale pink. If it changes, I was told to go to the ER. I have an appointment on Tuesday, so I’m hoping it’ll clear up by then. 
If you have a nurse that you can call, I’d definitely suggest that. They can make a decision based on your situation, and it’s really helpful to hear that from someone in the medical field.

Just remember that every pregnancy is different. What might be normal for one pregnancy can be something different for another. The only person qualified to give you the correct answer is your doctor. Give them a call and explain what’s going on. I had spotting with my first pregnancy and it ended in a miscarriage. Had spotting with my current pregnancy and I decided to go to ER and it was a cyst that exploded but got diagnosed with threatened miscarriage. So if you are feeling stressed out call your doctor.
