First trimester symptoms
I am so grateful to be pregnant. I can’t wait for July to have my baby. BUT- Is anyone else going through a horrible first trimester? I’m only 5w4d and I feel like it’s been forever. I’m nauseous CONSTANTLY since before 4 weeks, shortly after I found out that I was pregnant. No relief. Ive never felt like this before even being sick in the past (obviously my first time pregnant). I’ve thrown up a few times but I’m coughing and gagging all the time. I’m so exhausted. I’m very fortunate to not be working right now because I have no idea what I would do if I had to spend 8 hours a day outside of the home. I haven’t been able to leave the house in weeks. My husband has been an angel but he works 12 hour shifts in the military and I’m away from family so I’m alone most of the day. I haven’t even told my family yet because we’re seeing them at the end of the week so when they call I’ve been pretending like I have a stomach bug.
Any tips to make the first trimester a bit more bearable?
Also- I know this 2 week period seems like nothing, but to me it’s debilitating. I know some people go through it into the second trimester or even full term and I am sooo sorry for that. I’m struggling with a few weeks so far. 😭
