Before I get any of the “you’re ungrateful” comments I love my parents very much and I know they are just concerned about my wellbeing.....

I am 16 and will be 17 in January and I’m a junior in high school. I have my license and everything but I rarely get to go out with my friends... my dad tries to let me do things but my mom on the other hand will not. My dad sets my curfew to 11 but my mom sets my curfew to 9. My dad knows that I need my space and that if he’s too strict on me I will become rebellious and try to be sneaky.... I just need advice on how I can maybe talk to my mom about being less strict on me. I’m not allowed to date because they don’t want it to interfere with school but that just resulted in me dating behind their backs. I’m trying to sound all cool or anything but the saying goes “strict parents make sneaky children”..... so any advice. I’m open for anything just please don’t be too harsh on me haha
