Baby asprin daily to prevent preeclampsia ?

I was induced with high blood pressure last pregnancy at 38 weeks and it was pretty traumatic. I had blood pressure issues postpartum for about 4 weeks as well. My ob wants me to take 81mg of asprin (aka baby asprin) a day. Does anyone have experience taking this successfully?

My doctor is having me start taking it at 12 weeks to prevent high BP this pregnancy.

My OB has had me taking aspirin since I started seeing her at 6 weeks due to previous miscarriages and a subchorionic haematoma (which has since disappeared). She said it would help with blood flow to the placenta and that I should stop at 36 weeks so my blood won't be too thin when I give birth.

Did you have a blood clot? Baby aspirin isn't used to control blood pressure. If it helps prevent pre-ecclampsia, that's new information for me.

My Maternal Fetal Medicine Dr who is amazing has me taking 2 baby aspirin a seat he said their is more evidence that 2 is better, but for sure listen your own doc😊 I had an emergency c sec at 31wks with my first praying this helps!!

I’m currently 11 weeks and my doc recommended be to start taking at 16 weeks I had them issues as you.

I was induced with my first at 36 weeks for pre-e ended in a csection because of failure to progress. I then got pregnant three months after and took baby aspirin messed up with pre-e again at 38 weeks and had a csection that day. Now pregnant with my third at my first appointment my doctor said to take baby aspirin again starting at 8 weeks I’m now ten weeks still taking it.

I had preeclampsia with my first as well, and my doc gave me the same info about the baby asa. He said it’s my choice but studies have been done that it prevents it. If my blood pressure starts to rise or protein is in my urine I will definitely start taking it. I want to keep me and babe safe.
