I feel like my boyfriend’s family does not like me whatsoever. I feel like it is all a lie and excuses.

My boyfriend and I have broken up in the past and his family make me feel like I will never be good enough for him. I just want to get to know them more and be more comfortable around me because I’m not leaving.

I was invited to thanksgiving this year and was very excited to see his family. Then last minute, I was uninvited because one of his sisters really fought on me not coming. So, I didn’t go.

The day after thanksgiving, I found out the his family lied to some of the family members. A few people were asking why I wasn’t there. My boyfriend knew why but had his sister and mom explain. They told their family members “she is busy and can’t come.” Like WTF.

I just wish they would tell me the truth or express how they feel instead of lying.

I felt so hurt and upset with his family. It brought a small barrier between us. I will never be good enough for his family in their eyes.

Anyone dealt with this or something similar?
