How long to wait before having sex with a new guy?

Hi ladies!!

I’ve just started seeing this guy I met on Tinder, and there’s a lot of momentum there. We’re both really into each other, and we’ve made out and gotten a little handsy with each other but I am loving building the tension and want to wait a little longer to sleep with him.

Honestly, this isn’t my typical MO. I feel like I’m a little out of my wheelhouse here because historically I just like to get the sex over with to see if we’re compatible. However, with this guy I can already tell we definitely will be... how long is too long to make him wait, and should I explicitly talk to him about it? He mentioned not wanting to rush anything, so I know he’s cool with waiting, but I just want to know what some strategies you all have used in the past might be to help.

I feel like this could really turn into something, and I haven’t felt that way about a guy in over 2 years, so I don’t want to mess this up. Thanks in advance!!
