Has anyone ever massaged their perineum? Or will you be in preparation for birth?

I have read a few articles relating to this. I am going to give this a go as of friday ill then be 35weeks.

I can’t be the only one who could not do that position. So I would need my husband to hang out staring at my puffy vag with his thumbs up there massaging away lol. No thanks.

I labored in the shower at the hospital for a really long time..up until I was ready to push and I am convinced that’s why I didn’t tear. I had a 9 lb 2oz baby and I am a smaller lady lol.

Nope never did!! Just take evening primrose oil. I did and didn’t tear my first birth

I did non of that. At the time of birth my ob made sure to use alot of oil, but I did not in anyway "prep" anything to not tear and I didnt tear at all. I think it's just different with every person and pregnancy
