Sleep woes
Alright mamas, looking for some sleep feedback! My LO is about 4.5 months old and still sleeping in a cosleeper next to me. The four month sleep regression hit us HARD and we had about three solid weeks of frequent night wakings, after previously sleeping about 6-7 hours straight. Last week, LO rolled from back to belly, so we stopped swaddling him that night and transitioned to a sleep sack (we were using the love to dream swaddle). That night he slept almost 8 hours straight, and the same the next night! I could hear him self soothing by sucking his fingers. I thought we were out of the woods with the regression. Since then, it’s gotten a little worse each night and he seems to be self-soothing less. Last night, he had an hour of crying after his first wake up at 10:30. This is really unusual for him and I’m wondering if he is teething?? I’m not sure what else could be to blame for his sleep improvement and then worsening again!? I’m not really ready to move him into his nursery yet and not looking to sleep train either (we are attachment parenting). Does this sound similar to when your baby was teething? Please tell me it gets better soon 😫
