Provera-Medroxyprogesterone?

Has anyone taken this? Experience? Did it help?

I was given 10 pills to take for 10 days.

I am on day 45 of my period so my dr gave me this. He said this current period will end but soon after another period will start but this should help regulate my cycles and hopefully make it so my period doesn’t go on forever.

He told me it was no guarantee this would help me conceive.

A year ago I had a blood clot in my left lung due to a mix of birth control and a long car ride. He told me it’s possible if I got pregnant again I would get a blood clot during the pregnancy.

So now I’m not sure if getting pregnant is wise....

any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
