I worked in day care and had a few parents come in and tell me their child hates swings. (They had the mommaroo.) Well, they didn’t hate the regular swings we had! So when I told them that, they were upset they paid so much for a swing their child hated. 
Now I’m not saying all kids are going to hate it. But I wouldn’t buy it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel any swing is a waste of money since you can only use they for a short period of time. Both my girls went in a swing I bought only a handful of times and they’re not safe for them to sleep in anyway due to positional asphyxia. I got rid of mine and will not be using one for my newborn son.

Mine loves the Mamaroo but I got it used for $100. I figured if she hated it I would just resell it. They don’t get used for very long so keep an eye out for someone reselling theirs.

From what I’ve seen I feel like the mama ru swing doesn’t really swing hard enough for most babies. I have a Fischer price swing and my babe used it until he was 8 months old. I worked in a nursery with 22 babies everyday and we had 5 swings and all of the babies we’ve ever had in that room LOVE the swings

My 4 month old likes the mommaroo, but we found it at a discount store for a very low price, otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten one. She also likes the $40 swing I use when I’m in the kitchen, Doug laundry etc.
