Second D&C?

Has anyone had to go in for a second D&C because they didn't get everything the first time?

I had a D&e in September... I have had 2 periods since. I just got checked and they said I have some retained tissue left. I will have to have another D&c. It’s so frustrating and emotionally draining. I don’t understand why they don’t use a camera for D&c if their is a chance of not getting all the tissue out 😥😥. Would love to hear your experience.

I'm from UK so terminology is a little different. I was 10 weeks, baby was 6. Had to wait 2 weeks before doctors intervene to confirm there is definitely no heartbeat. My body tried to pass it but didn't. Had an MVA (manual vacuum aspiration) whilst I was awake, I bled heavily, had blood transfusion I lost so much blood. Two weeks later, still in pain and ultrasound confirm there was still retained product. Then had a ERPC, same procedure but electrical and put to sleep. Both procedures done under ultra sound observation. Last procedure was in August and period returned end of september. No BFP yet x

Yes I was induced and had to go back for a d &c. Leftovers from the placenta

Yes, I had DnC February and period lasted 7 days and clot every cycle. Went back in July for another dnc to clear out what was left over from February and removed polyp. Got pregnant a cycle after July dnc then miscarried this month again.

I had an m/c in Jan this year. Had a d&c and about a week later I started bleeding more heavily than before and my pain was so intense I had to go to the hospital. A ton of blood came out as the doc checked me and he took me straight back for another d&c. 
It was a horrible experience. I just hope I can get pregnant again. Been trying ever since.
