Comfort In My Hair
I love my natural hair but at the same time I’m not all that comfortable in it in public. I love to wear my Afro combed out around the house and it feels so freeing, but then I get nervous that if I wear it anywhere else I’ll get stared or get called something because someone doesn’t like how I look. I’m proud of my black hair but i feel like I’ll get judged if it isn’t “tamed” or straightened in public.
