Yeast infections caused by labial hypertrophy?

I’ve recently had and cleared a yeast infection which i thought was caused by a certain shower gel. But now i believe it has returned and i am in such discomfort!😩the pain started after i had sex and i thought at first it might have just been micro tears, but the irritation is the same as the thrush symptoms... although worse. I have been doing some research and have come across one that fits my symptoms. possible yeast infections being caused by enlarged labia minora. i was hoping other women out there had experienced similar, or am i just going crazy!
