How can I get my one month old to sleep at night?

My baby didn’t fall asleep until 7am today which meant no sleep for me or my boyfriend because we share a room with the baby. As soon as 11pm hits it’s like he’s a whole different baby 😩 he screams and kicks and when you hold him you have to bounce otherwise he’ll start screaming again. I’ve patted his back making sure it wasn’t air, ive tried gripe water too (that used to help but doesn’t anymore) when he falls asleep in my arms he screams as soon as I lay him down. PLEEEESSE HELP I’m at a loss right now 💔
