Period after pregnancy?

Hey ladies this is my first pregnancy and I am just wondering what the 1st period is like after you’ve given birth. Is it super heavy? Awful cramps? And if so how heavy? Like enough to fill up a couple pads within a short amount of time? I don’t know why I’m so worried about this but I am for some reason! 😂

I’m 18, pregnant with my first and due June 14. This has been stressing me out so much too!! My mom has had five babies and hers were probably all different but for the most part she said it’s a lot heavier and usually more painful and lasts awhile! Sounds terrible but it’s worth it ☺️

They’re all different. Your period won’t be the same as others.

Mine was absolutely messy me extremely painful, lie in bed for two days and no medication helped so I went to the hospital and they kept me for three days because I was bleeding to much and my clots got huge

Mine was AWFUL. I'm talking, I'd stand up after lying in bed for a while and would completely soak through the pad, the pants, I even had it dripping onto the floor! It happened so much. It got less and less bad with each one, but the first maybe two or three were miserable. I only bled for a week after baby too, so it was definitely a period.

My first was 8 weeks after I had my son. It was by far the worst period I’ve ever had. It was so heavy that a super+ tampon and pad had to be changed after an hour and a half or so. It lasted 8 days. My cramps were extremely bad but I also had a csection. I don’t know if that makes the cramps worse or not but I’d assume so. 
My first 2 were super heavy and painful but then everything slowed down to light flow and 3 days.
