Soap to clean vagina?

I’ve heard it’s bad to use soap to clean your vag, but when people say this are they referring to using soap on the inner labia folds or in the actual vagina hole??? Because I would never use soap in my vagina hole, but I use it on my labia minora folds. Is this okay?

Here are the instructions that should have been in your "Vagina Owners Manual":
Wash between your lips, in the folds and under your clitoris hood with clean lukewarm water and your finger. You can wash the outside lips (where hair grows) with a mild unscented moisturizing soap. If you sweat a lot there, you can use a mild bacterial soap there.
Do not wash or douche your vagina. It is self cleaning. You will observe discharge in your panties. This is partly your vagina cleaning itself. Your Vagina is also acidic inside to kill germs, and your cervix are sealed by cervical mucus when you are not fertile and have egg white mucus. This helps your cervix to keep bacteria from entering your uterus.
Always pat your genitals dry. Wipe from the front to the back on the toilet, to prevent anal bacteria from being wiped inside your vulva.
Sleep without panties to keep yourself dry and airy, when it is safe to do so. Avoid tight fitting and artificial meterials around your vulva, or limit the amount of time you wear it. This included nylons and very tight pants. String type panties should also be avoided as it can transfer anal bacteria to your vulva.
Be careful of any scented things down there. Make sure you rinse all soap from your panties when you wash them, and avoid fabric softener on your panties. Plain old cotton panties are the best to keep you dry and airy during the day.
See a doctor when discharge is green or blue, or when it smells bad.
Avoid sex without condoms except for long term partners. This will reduce your chances of getting BV.

I don’t get like precise about it ur anything but I just scrub down there with my loofa and then rinse off right away using normal body wash that I use on the rest of my body. As long as ya not getting inside, you’re fine.
