Upper teeth pain at 22 weeks.

I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. I got a very bad cold like a week ago and then all my upper teeth started hurting super bad with strong headaches none stop. They have been hurting over a week non stop, I have tried all types of home remedies and nothing helps at all. I can’t even sleep at night cuz of the horrible pains. Is the pain because I had a cold or is pregnancy giving me these symptoms? If you had horrible teeth pain what did you do to help with that? Is it safe to go to a dentist? What medicine did you take to help if you took any? I heard taking medicine is not safe when pregnant so I have been trying to avoid that.
