Is this normal for a 7 month old?

My son is 7 months old, going on 3 years old. He’s crawling around like a mad man and he pulls himself up on anything and everything. The problem is, he’s not as coordinated as he thinks he is. While climbing, he slips and hits his head on whatever he’s climbing. Chairs, dressers, the crib. I’m usually always there to stop him, but he’s so fast now, sometimes I just miss it. He’s bumping his head at least once a day. He currently has a bruise on his forehead from the rocking chair 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s stressing me out so bad. I feel like a horrible mom. Is anyone else having this problem so soon?
