Husband is "always right"

Anyone else have a husband that thinks he's always right?

We're working on getting into a new bedroom. My mother graciously decided she would buy us a new king sized bed. My brother in law and his girlfriend just broke up and she took everything from him. So my mom figured it would benefit both of us because he could use our bed until he's able to get a new one.

My mom just bought a 14" cool gel king size for like $500 and said she wanted to get one for us too because it was so nice. I am very frugal so I was like I'll go digging around Amazon and see what I can find. Found one for almost $300 that was 10" thick. It had the option to bundle with a waterproof cover for $150, so like half the price with more stuff!! That for me pretty excited lol.

I was telling the story of my awesome find to my husband and he was questioning why I would want 10" when his mattress now is over double that.

I was like what? I've never heard of any matress being thicker than 14" I mean I guess it could be but never heard of it.

He tells me it's got to be 24", 20" at the very least.

So I was like okay, and tried to continue my story about how it was cheaper by $150 to get a cover with it but he totally walked away while I was midsentence.

So I just go back to living my life playing with our toddler.

This man comes back out a couple minutes later with a freaking tape measure lol. I was like come on guy, you're kidding.

Comes out to 14" exactly lol.

It felt like a small victory in my boring life, haha.

Sorry if this was a long story for a short point 🤣 maybe I should just start a diary. Anyone else have a significant other that isn't maybe as right as often as they think? :)
