Vaccinations, homeschooling, and the other things that make us weird.

I have one child. We vaccinated him with his first dose of 6 shots when he was a baby, and unfortunately his body didn’t metabolize them properly. He turned blue immediately, stopped breathing and responding, and had seizures. The doctors agreed that it was a vaccine reaction and was on board with delaying.

Delaying death or another bad reaction, that’s not even something to ponder. We tried, it failed us, we learned our lesson. With that being said, am I against the idea of vaccines? Nope. I’m against giving my child something that caused HIM harm. if your child metabolizes vaccines better than mine, that’s so wonderful. I’m truly happy for you, But please do not expect me to harm my child to “protect” yours. It is not one size fits all. Do your research, know the benefits and the risks, and make an informed decision. Block out the nonsense in this world says and make the decision as the parent of YOUR child. Don’t go to google to do your research; talk to doctors of ALL ages, talk to nurses, talk to other parents who have vaccinated and ones who haven’t. Go to the library and find medical books, pray about it.

I don’t judge you for doing what you feel is best for your child, ever. I respect you. I don’t judge the mom who gives her child every single vaccine on the planet, and I don’t judge the mothers who will never see a vaccine in her life. God will judge the hateful mothers who try to tell other mothers how to parent rather than focusing on their own children. Shame on them!

I also homeschool, not because I feel guilty for not vaccinating, but bc I don’t want my child being taught that medical practices have the same result for everyone. We are all individuals and deserve to be treated as such. My child won’t be a statistic.
