So I passed this at the ER. What are your thoughts as to what this is? I was told that I am miscarrying due to the amount of blood I am passing. After this was passed I had an ultrasound and they saw a baby but no heartbeat. I was 6 weeks and 2 days.

Unfortunately it does look like you might be miscarrying. I bleed quite a bit and passed similar looking stuff for both of my miscarriages. More so with my first one because I was nearly 10 weeks but my second one I was probably around 6 weeks and it was basically the same, just a little less.

At six weeks, it’s still hard to pick up a heartbeat. With my last baby (she is 16 months) they didn’t see hers at 6wks either. But they did at 8wks. It could be a twin loss or it could just be bleeding that can’t be explained. The best thing to do is just rest and stay off your feet. They will do another ultrasound to check again.

same happened to me on september at 6 weeks heartbeat stopped and at 10 weeks baby was measuring 4 weeks behind.. I went to the ER for heavy bleeding and horrible cramping.. but I had a D&C schedule by then.. found out baby was not growing on a thursday.. missed miscarriage and they schedule me for a d&c on monday but started bleeding on my own on friday.. went to the ER and monday my doc had me in and was showing still a lot of tissue in my uterus so i went for the d&c anyway.. it looked the same.. Im sorry :(
