Conceiving After Vasectomy Reversal

Hi ladies... my husband had a VR reversal in November with one of the best specialists in the field... we went for his first post op semen analysis and sperm count was zero.. doctor doesn’t seem very worried & says it’s probably swelling and him back on prednisone. Any of you ladies tried to conceive after a VR and got pregnant? How long did it typically take for swelling to subside and for you to get pregnant... trying not to feel discouraged but I am not going to lie, I do feel a bit heart broken...
