How long do you stay mad after an argument (particularly with your significant other)?

So I’m being petty right now yes. But I learned growing up I can not argue very well. And instead of coming right out and saying stuff I bottle it up and it takes a few minutes to get over it. I want to be alone and not talk until I’m done fuming so I don’t say anything I will regret. This takes time probably an hour max. However, my fiancé and I when we fight he’s over it instantly and expects me to be. The thing is he doesn’t treat us equally and I don’t give a flying fuck about the fight what makes me mad is the double standard. He gets pissed about something and is in an ill mood and that’s okay but heaven forbid I do the same thing over the same problem and get upset. I’m just a terrible person. And I’m sick of it. And I’ve said it multiple times and it’s like he doesn’t listen. And it’s fine. But give me my damn hour to calm down by myself and wait until I come speak to you. He can’t get that. Literally 45 seconds after he yelled at me and I said okay he goes “so you going to be mad for the rest of the day” of course you’ll get a smart ass comment back! I mean Jesus Christ I’ve yelled cried pleaded with him to leave me the hell alone after a fight and he refuses to do it. I have to go lock myself in another room and he will be fussing at the door. Which makes me madder for longer and it draws it out. I mean Jesus am I a terrible person for having emotions and wanting to express them ? Am I a terrible person for wanting to be alone so I can cool off after an argument? Am I a terrible person for judging whether something is worth arguing over and being quiet and deciding not to say anything? 😑 it just makes it sooooooo hard sometimes
