LMP or Ovulation date?

Does anyone ovulate later in their cycle and also gotten pregnant? If so, what date did your doctor give for EDD? 
The first day of my last period was Oct 27th but I know for a fact I ovulated on Nov 17th. According to the app, can I assume I’m 6 weeks? Or would I be less since I ovulated a week later? I have a 33 day cycle. 
I have my first ultrasound and prenatal visit on the 18th but I’m just curious!

I’m measuring 5 days ahead of my LMP, but I’m only one day off when using my ovulation date. I think ovulation date is more accurate. LMP does not take into account follicular phase and cycle length which is different for everyone. I believe LMP is the standard used because not all women know their cycles and also a number of women do not have regular cycles.

Mine went off LMP and I ovulated around like day 22 in my cycle. I have long cycles. I had some bleeding so they did an ultrasound at 7 weeks and then moved my EDD back one week.
