What bottles are the best to use for breastfeeding?

I'm a ftm I want to breastfeed but I also want my partner to be able to feed baby . There are soo many options at the store I really don't know which ones to try. Nuk , Evenflo, Playtex or the bottles that help with colic and gas. I really don't know mom's please help.

We’ve been using Avent Natural for 7 1/2 months with no issues. They also have an anti-colic valve, you just have to line up the white ring and the nipple. We switched out all the nipples for a preemie/newborn flow (so she has to work for the milk like breastfeeding) and pace feed the bottles so it’s as close to breastfeeding as possible  to help avoid nipple confusion and preference.

Minbie brand is amazing! It was the only one my daughter would take and she went between breast and bottle without any issues.

Our lactation consultant said her favorite is Dr Brown but that Avent bottles are also good. She also said paced feeding is more important than bottle type when using a bottle with breastfeeding babies.

The ones that look the closest to your nipples (when baby unlatches) I used the mam bottles. That’s the only bottle LO would take (if he took a bottle) they also have this texture part on the nipple that I think is pretty cool.

We lucked out and the first bottles we tried my son took to immediately. It’s the Dr.Browns brand and he spits up waaaaay less than a lot of babies so I think all the extra parts are worth it!

It’s not really the bottle but how you use the bottle. Look up pace feeding which is recommended for breastfed babies. I would start with de browns bottles personally but it’s just trial and error until you find the right one

My daughter would only take Smilo bottles when she was younger. Now she prefers...any.
