Chronic Lymes disease?

I was diagnosed with chronic lymes disease 1 1/2 years ago and now am married and looking to TTC in the next year. Looking for anyone who has dealt with it . How did it affect you and pregnancy and or baby.

You should be fine now as long as were treated for it as some point. One of my friends had it years before she got pregnant and both her and her child were completely healthy. And ironically her cousin had it as well during her own pregnancy (but was safely able to go ahead and treat it). Now they are both completely healthy with healthy babies.

I have had chronic Lyme for a few years and got extensive treatment for it and although I still have a few symptoms it's a lot better. I am pregnant right now and I won't know if I passed it to my baby until he is born, but my pregnancy has been very good and he is looking healthy. Before I got pregnant I went to a nutritionist for months and got some amazing help with learning how to eat and what supplements to take with Lyme... I would really advise looking into that. I suffered undiagnosed for 10 years. My 2 oldest were congenitally infected. I became pregnant, again, after I started treatment and switched the meds to protect my third child. My third child tested negative and is healthy. I feel better after 2 1/2 years of treatment and supplements but I still am left with residual damage.

Hello! Unfortunately I am what happens to Lyme disease victims when they have a baby. My parents both have Lyme Disease and just didn’t know. They had the test done multiple times and nothing ever showed up. Here I am today. 21 years old and still fighting this terrible disease. Since I was the first born.. my disease was activated the moment I was born. I have the same fear about when the time comes and I want a family of my own. Right now, there is no exact way of knowing if you are 100% cured. But I believe if you go through the treatment process and your symptoms are gone then you should be safe. I recommend maintaining a healthy life style. (Exercise, Avoid foods that can irritate the body or increase inflammation, and sleep) 
Also, be sure to share that healthy life style with your baby. My sister is a carrier of Lyme but since she has no symptoms.. the doctors believed the Lyme wasn’t activated yet and she can live the rest of her life never activating the Lyme if she maintains a healthy life style.

I got diagnosed with lyme 4 days after I found I out i was expecting. I had had symptoms for years, so at this point I believe i have chronic lyme. Taking an antibiotic reducing the risk of passing it to baby, but taking two totally eliminates the risk. Right now I'm almost 27weeks with a healthy baby girl😊.

It’s Lyme, not Lymes. 
It’s generally not recommended to have a child with Lyme disease for your safety. There is also a huge risk of passing it to your child. 
You need to have a serious discussion with your LLMD about having a child.
