Hypothetical immigrant/refugee situation. read description

So we have disscussed 1million and 1 times the situations surrounding immigrants, and people seeking refuge. People bring up tax money going to them, welfare , jobs etc. We have heard it all.

What if all of that wasnt a propblem? What if U.S (or if your country is going through the same) didnt have high unemployment rates, taxes were being spent properly and fairly and people didnt abuse government assistance, how would you feel about your country assisting them? Would these issues still be a concern?
