When can I start having sex again?

I gave birth to My son 3 weeks ago (November 20 2018) & needless to say, MY HORMONES ARE GOING CRAZY! I was 39 weeks when I gave birth to My son but I haven't had sex since I was 34 weeks pregnant 😩 so basically, its been well over a Month, going on 2 MONTHS. I had to get a few stitches after My vaginal birth & although they've dissolved, I still have light bleeding (but Bleeding has never stopped Me from doing the Do 🤫) So I'm wondering when can I start having sex again because I need it, BADLY 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

You bare supposed to wait at least 6 wks to avoid infection.  Doesn't mean you can't help each other out in ways that don't involve penetration

Think about it this way...your placenta detached and left a huge open wound on your uterine wall only 3 weeks ago. That is the main reason they say 6 weeks. I wouldn’t want anything being injected in there that could potentially cause infection

I barely wanted to have sex 8 weeks after considering the amount of bleeding and soreness... but you're supposed to wait 6 to 8 weeks or unless doctor says otherwise

I had it at 3 weeks! I wasn't bleeding no more and my stitches dissolve so we went crazy lol and let me tell you OMG IT WAS THE BEST SEX EVER!!! Maybe because we haven't had sex since I was 5 months pregnant

Personally I say wait for the Dr to clear you. But if you don’t want to do that, just listen to your body. If you’re still bleeding, then you’re still “wounded” (because it’s not a period), and you should probably wait as to not cause irritation/possible infection to the wounds.

I started having sex with after both my babies 2 weeks after. Never had any stitches or anything and only bleed for a week each time. Never had any issues. My doc advised me to wait for my 6 week check up but I was too horny!!! Lol everything checked out perfectly at both my 6 week check ups. Women know their bodies best.
