Really need help..

So this may be long I don't know, but I've been on birth control pill for the last 5 years. I got my period one day and bleed so heavily for 30 DAYS STRAIGHT. I went to the doctor and they did an emergency d&c and put me on the pill to regulate my periods and control the bleeding. In late October of this year, I decided to come off so I snuck around about it and didnt tell anyone. About a week ago I went to the er because I was having pain in my lower left abdomen. They literally did Xrays, Blood work, ultrasound, and all came back normal. They told me i was full of poop😂 (how embarrassing) I've only had a couple bowel movements since then and one hurt so bad like constipation and I wiped a little blood (probably from where it was hurting so bad) anyways, the doctor told me if I came off I might not get my period but another doctor told me it could be dangerous🤷‍♀️. I last had my period in late October and due for my next period on the 17th. Im also taking a pregnancy test each month to make sure. Should I wait a couple more missed periods to go to doctor?
