Ah! Lice!

Last week i was informed that lice is going around all four of my kids schools/pre school. I checked all their heads the same day and found nothing. I washed all their bedding on hot and had them all shower using shampoo I added tea tree oil to. I try to spray their hair with essential oil infused water before they leave for school everyday and I briefly check their hair every morning. Still, I’ve seen nothing. So this is good news. Myself however, my head is itching like crazy! I know I have bad dandruff due to very dry scalp. I’ve used an essential oil infused oil combination at least twice since the notification, leaving it on for at least 4 hours each time. I wash every time with the tea tree shampoo. I also use a nit comb a couple times a day, although I know I’m not doing it as precisely as I should be. I have extremely thick, long hair and I haven’t figured out how to do it in small sections on myself. I do get the comb over all my scalp though. I’ve never seen a lice. I dont know if I’ve seen nits. Like i said, i have pretty bad dandruff. I also use the essential oil water spray on my hair and I always wear it up. So what are the odds that I would actually have lice with all the precautions I’m taking? I’m super paranoid! And I have no one to check my head. No family at all and I literally have ONE friend but we aren’t close like that. Please someone, help
