How long after getting off BC will I be able to conceive?

I'm not getting on BC next month in order to TTC. AF is due next week so this Sunday is my patch off week. I'm nervous TTC. If anyone has been on the patch, how soon after did you get a BFP? I'm nervous about how long it will take. I know I need to be patient and let things be. But I can't help but think if I don't get a BFP soon after, it would be my fault for getting on BC. Sounds crazy I know but that's what's been making me feel unsettled.

I’ve never had the patch but it doesn’t take time for your body to regulate itself. I had my IUD out in August and started having regular periods starting in September. I feel like I’ve ovulated the last two months.

I got off BC in August. Didn’t have a period in September with BFN. Went to the doctor and did an ultrasound and found cysts on my ovaries and she said that is why I didn’t have a period. Put me on provera to make my period start and I had a period in October. Had a period on my own in November and i am now trying to track my ovulation but having a hard time!! Good luck to you! I’m kindof scared because I was on BC for so long! My doctor said it takes 3-6 months for your body to get back to regular after BC so I’m trying to be patient and let my body get back to normal!
