Bleeding after sex

So me and my boyfriend had sex last night and we had the lights out. After we got done I was bleeding fresh blood (not period blood) all over both of us and the bed. I had a uti last week but thought it was over. He’s bigger than I’m used to and I havnt had sex at all in half a year. I’ve had my hymen broke before. But when I showered I noticed my urethra was dark red and very very swollen but I could still use the bathroom. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I go to the doctor if it happens again? The swelling has gone down significantly since then. Unsure of what could be wrong and what to do
