Update: i wanted to just add that his paternity leave is paid. He wants to take the whole 14 weeks because from feb-june his work is less busy so they send them hone early and he sometimes doesn't get 40hrs/week. So he will for sure get his 40hrs.

My husband decided to take 14 weeks of paternity leave once our baby comes.. we had agreed upon 7 weeks but he changed his mind without discussing it with me. I know I should be grateful but he is the least helpful person I know. We have 3 other kids that he is hopefully going to help with. He argued with me saying he is going to need to go out every now and then. I'm so upset. Am I horrible if I have him sign an agreement saying he will actually help and that he will only go out once a month? I'm not due for 8 more weeks but I don't need this added stress
