Fun and lighthearted. How did you guys meet?

I thought it might be fun to see how everyone met their spouse!
10 years ago I worked at a bowling alley, I was 17 and my boss was 23. I was dating the owner’s son and he was dating the owner’s daughter’s best friend, so really we met before he was my boss. I always thought he was super cute and after my then boyfriend and I broke up, I always told my best friend that I thought my boss was so cute but that he was in a serious relationship and that he was 6 years older than me anyway, so clearly I’d never be with him. 5 years ago he reached out to me on Facebook, and well... there’s that. Fast forward, we just celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary and he adopted my (our) now 7 year old daughter and we have twin boys that are almost 3!

Cute family! I went to the same high school as my husband but we didn’t really know each and both had high school sweethearts lol. We have mutual friends though. So a few years after high school, we ran into each other at a Halloween party! The next night we slept together and got pregnant 5 months later! He proposed at our baby shower! We’ve been married 5.5 years and together for 8 years and have 2 beautiful girls (2 & 7)!

I was 20 and going to college working at Hardee’s at night and he walked in and knew the guy I was working with. He told the guy I was working with to get my number for him. Hahahaha. Well almost 10 years and 4 kids later we are still together and happily married !

We met the last day of basic training- on the bus to leave basic really. he was 20 I was 21. We ended up having similar jobs and going to the same follow on training. Then we ended up being assigned to the same jet 
Then the same base 
All of this coincidence. 
We started dating, led to marriage, and now here we are 4 years later about to have our daughter, home owners of two homes and rental properties, and we are both separating from the military as I have a job with an It company and he is going to work for space x!

We met at the drive in movie theater almost 12 years ago. Random. I was 18 he was 22.

We met when i was 5 years old playing with my cousin across the street from his house practicing our cheerleading ☺️  didnt date until my freshman year broke up due to moving away and reconnected 5 years later and here we are

We met my freshman year of high school, 14 years ago. We had biology together. I spent most of the time listening to him talk about whatever new gadget he had and making fun of our teacher. (The teacher was one creepy dude.) We didn't go past friends though.  He moved away after he graduated and I was with a controlling guy so we kind of lost contact. After I graduated I ended up breaking up with the guy. My now husband had moved back to the area as well. I only found out because he lived across from my friend's boyfriend's house and we were all there one day.  We started talking, hung out on Halloween, first date in November and made us official in December. Yesterday was actually our 10 year anniversary of being together. We've been married for 3.5 years to the date as of yesterday as well.  We have a 2 year old and a 2 month old. Never would have guessed I'd marry the clown from biology. 😂😂

I met my dh when he was born 35 years ago! We lived together when I was 6, he was my first kiss. He moved away, went into army. Got married. 14 years later my mom set us up after his divorce. Wish it didn’t take me so long to “catch” him... but so glad everything ended the way it did!

We met at a bar/club on New Years Eve 2015. My roommates at the time had wanted to go out and I honestly could have cared less...and the same for him, his friends tricked him into going and he didn’t care to go either (ironic). Once my friends and I had got to the bar we had only been inside for maybe 10 minutes before one of his friends walked over and started making small talk. Eventually him and his other friend walked over, but he only stayed for like 2 minutes before ditching 😅 Apparently the friend he had walked over with had told him he was interested in me so he was respecting that. 
In the meantime, I kept asking his friend about him (not having any idea his friend was low key trying to make a move on me) 😂 
Anyway, fast forward like an hour and his friend finally got him to come talk to me (he was nervous and didn’t think I was interested). Once we officially finally met (which at that point was after midnight and was January 1st, 2016) we were inseparable. I had never met anyone in my life that made me feel so comfortable and so at home feeling so quick. 
We ditched the bar and all 6 of us walked around uptown in the freezing cold for a few hours (I was in a short dress with stilettos and he not only carried me on his back but also carried my shoes for me) 😍
At around 2:30am my friends and I decided to invite him and his friends back to our apartment (we had ubered uptown so we rode back to our apartment with them in their car — which didn’t fit all of us so I ended up riding in the backseat on his lap) 😌
We ordered pizza, played spoons, and watched Netflix until 7am. Since then, we haven’t gone a day without seeing each other. 
We started dating not even 3 weeks later on January 21st and will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary in a month! 🥰 We now live together in our own place and have a 10 month old Siberian Husky pup named Lyrix ❤️
We talk about the future, engagement, marriage, and kids all the time and I can’t wait to take the next step with him!
