Humana??

Has anyone used Humana /tricare during their pregnancy, what did u think of it?

I’m on Tricare reserve select and the only thing I’ve paid for so far was one tiny copay on some lab work. Everything else has been covered.

I have had Humana for half of the pregnancy and everything was free. It’s good insurance. But now I have to move to United which has a nice $6500 single deductible and $13000 family, and you can’t even get prescriptions covered until you meet the deductible 😡 I miss Humana

I’m using it, and I have not paid anything yet I’ve had two appointments. They said at one of those classes that it would only cost 75 dollars to have a baby with no complications lol

You need to check the policy, not the company. Policies can vary greatly. Check the deductible, coinsurance, and out of pocket max for the year, regardless of which company you use.

I found this on the tricare reserve select coverage page. But like I said I suggest joining the page called ALL MILITARY and ask again on there as I am sure you will find a fellow reserve spouse that can break it down for you.

Im using tricare prime / humana. Ive had no problems other than finding a good ob to work with. Humana pretty much has handled all of the expenses so far.
