Copper iud

Does anybody have the copper iud? Did/do you have any issues with it? I was going to get my tubes tied but I’m having second thoughts so I’m considering the iud. I can’t take hormonal birth control so the iud would really be my only option besides a tubal ligation. I have concerns about it migrating or causing long lasting damage somehow (irrational I know, I’m just paranoid about having a foreign object in me all the time). Any input is welcome, thanks!!
