To test or not to test? That is the question ..

So me and my bf have been trying for a baby for the past 2 months (I know not long) but basically my periods usually ALWAYS last 5-6 days and are around the same day every month but this month my period came on almost a week early and only lasted 2 days. My cousin says it could of been implantation bleeding and I might actually be pregnant, should I test !? Also I took a test before I came on and it was negative .
